Ice little play area and it’s clean however the toilets aren’t up to the highest of standards! Also the door isn’t safe the children can easily get out when someone goes out or in!!
Food is just simple food and I agree isn’t the cheapest day out if you haven’t got enough to splash out on snacks and toys makes it embarrassing for a parent trying to get your child out and you’ve no money to pay for the light up sword!
The place is a good play area though!
Our first experience was positive over all. Staff were friendly and it wasn't so busy when we went. What I will say is it cost us a tenner for 2 children ( 2 year old and 1 year old ) for an hour and a half. You're not allowed to take your own food / drink / snacks in so you have to buy from there. Whilst I completely understand and totally appreciate they as a company have costs to keep the business going.. its not the cheapest day out. If we were allowed our own refreshments that might lighten the load a little :)
Good play area, not sure about the access situation in and out a child could easily wander out if don't have your eyes on them.
My daughter asked for a glass of tap water and got refused, how anyone can deny a child a glass of tap water to a child is ridiculous, got told you have to buy bottled water at £1.70. minimum spend of £5 on card .
The toilets were disgraceful and no locks on the door .
Staff could smile once in while .
Fantastic place, my grandkids, nieces and nephews absolutely love it, we've been many times now. Biggest (and cleanest) soft play we've ever been to with things to entertain all ages. Staff were all friendly, good selection of drinks and crisp etc. Adults are also able to go on it which the kids love!
We are going to give a very honest review. The play centre is ok. The facility is a nice size with lots of slides and fun stuff for the kids. Food is ok too but slightly overpriced in my opinion. One thing that annoyed me is that despite spending £40 on food and play for the kids. We then paid another £4 for half an hour for our two kids and then we asked again for another half an hour and got refused. We got told it was because it was end of school time and it was going to be busy soon. We come to the realisation that they wanted us to leave as we would not be buying more food and they want the spaces for new people who would be buying food. So this place clearly does not care about the customers and the kids. It cares more about profits. After being a regular customer here and spending a lot of money I was very dissapointed
Came here first time this week, cost £5.50 for 1 child 1 and half hours play he really enjoyed the play area. Got a coffee and fruit shoot for £3 which is a fair price. Check online before you go as there is different prices for weekends and term times. Place seemed clean will definitely come back 👍 …
We’ve been here twice now and both time had unpleasant experiences. This time we paid for our hour play session, had a quick nappy change before going in and then about 50minutes in got out and ordered some food to eat, I did ask for some tap water but was told this would have to be paid for. I’ve never been told I need to pay for tap water anywhere before so I was a little surprised. Food arrived approximately 15 minutes later, it was fine. My 2 year old is a slow eater and was about 1/4 through her meal and a staff member came to say we had over run our hour slot and should have left by now. I was confused by this as we had left the play area in plenty of time and then paid for the food in the cafe. My toddler had her shoes on at this point and wasn’t going to be going back to play. We felt very rushed by staff who started sweeping under our feet. It wasn’t closing time, nor was it extremely busy, so I couldn’t understand why we were being rushed so much, especially as we had paid for the food. Both myself and my little one were eating, it became a very uncomfortable environment for us to be in. I let her finish her food although we were definitely annoying the staff by doing this. It took my toddler around 45 minutes to finish her food, this is normal for her at a meal time, she was being very well behaved and sat at the table throughout.
On the way out I went to apologise to the staff for not understanding that the hour play was meant to include the time spent in the cafe and that was the reason for our 45 minute late departure. To my shock I was met with the 2 older staff members who appeared to be acting in a more senior role, they both argued that an hour was an acceptable time to play, order, wait for food, use the toilet facilities and eat. They argued that no one takes 45 minutes to eat. My little one was upset by their raised voices and needed reassurance as we left that we wouldn’t be seeing the ‘naughty ladies’ (as she put it) again.
I don’t think I should even have apologised in the first place, but I do like to be the bigger person in these situations. Especially in front of my toddler. On top of all of this it’s by far the most expensive soft play we’ve been to and the only one we’ve ever had to pay for a parent to join their toddler/baby.
There was a younger staff member who we spoke to who appeared a lot kinder. Unfortunately she was bound by what the other 2 staff member were telling her to do.
Do yourself a favour and travel further for a better experience.
Love it here. I take my 2 year old child with SPD here at least once a week and he loves it he gets excited as soon as we pull up outside. The foods nice enough and staff are friendly and accomodating. X
